What if I get sick?

If you or an immediate family member or a member of your traveliing party gets sick or has an accident or passes away after you have booked your travel or while on your trip, travel insurance has your back. 

Travel insurance is meant to protect you from unforeseen consequences, both before and during your trip.

It is very affordable if you purchase it within 15 days of initial deposit.   Like all insurance, not having it is taking a risk that everything will go fine, that there will be no accidents, no one will get sick (or worse), that all flights will be on time, and all luggage will arrive safely...

What if I am on my trip?

Once you are on a cruise ship or outside the U.S., normally your medical coverages does not apply.  Medical care in a foreign country can be costly, and if you have to cut your trip short and fly home for care, special arrangements might be required.

So what can I do?

I recommend purchasing travel protection from TravelSafe Insurance, a company who has been providing 24-hour protection worldwide since 1971.  I personally use TravelSafe when I travel. 

Cost of the insurance is based on several factors, including the price of the trip, ages of the travelers, and what coverage you want.  

I suggest the Classic plan, at a minimum.  The small cost of the extra coverage can make a huge difference if you need service.

With travel protection, you will have someone to call 24/7 if you need a doctor's care, your luggage is lost, or you miss your flight or cruise ship.  That's peace of mind for any traveler!
